People Pleasing, Childhood Trauma & Why It Never Gets You What You Want!
Wednesday Apr 01, 2026
Wednesday Apr 01, 2026
This one is for everyone who has ever given everything to someone and wondered why it still wasn't enough. If that's you — press play.
In this episode, Ny gets deeply personal about being a people pleaser, specifically in her romantic relationships. She breaks down how growing up in a toxic, chaotic environment taught her to earn love by shrinking herself — and how that survival blueprint followed her into every relationship she's had since. She gets into the fawn response, the resentment that quietly builds when you keep betraying yourself, and the hard truth that people pleasing almost never delivers the love or safety we're chasing. She also shares where she is in her own healing and what it actually looks like to start unlearning this pattern.
A raw, honest, and deeply personal episode. Grab your mug and come kiki with us. 💕

Tuesday Mar 10, 2026
Tuesday Mar 10, 2026
Let’s hear it for the girls!
March is Women’s History Month and March 8th was International Women’s Day, so today we’re giving women their flowers while they can still smell them.
Despite everything happening in the world, women are still building, achieving, leading, and carrying entire communities on their backs. In this episode, we’re talking about the reality that women are quietly outpacing men in education and workforce participation, what feminism actually means, why women supporting women matters more than ever, and why our progress toward true equity is still unfinished.
Because the truth is… the girls are thriving. But we still have work to do.
We’ll also touch on women’s agency, representation in leadership, the pay gap, and the importance of letting the girls girl in peace.

With Valentine’s Day 🩷 right around the corner, I wanted to have an honest conversation about what love really is. Not the Instagram version. Not the movie version. The real, raw, sometimes uncomfortable version that requires work, growth, and intentionality. Being in a serious relationship again has shifted my perspective on love in ways I didn’t expect. I’m learning that everyone wants a relationship, but not everybody wants to work for it.
Love requires inner work and outer work. It forces us to confront ourselves, the good, the bad, and the ugly. And while love does involve pain, it’s growing pain, not struggle love.
Grab your tea and let’s get into it. 💘✨

Welcome to Season 7 of Let Me Just Say This and (more importantly) HAPPY BLACK HISTORY MONTH🥳!!!!. I missed y’all so bad and I’m so excited to be back. I took a little break to reset, regroup, and honestly let January do what January was gonna do. And now we’re here.
I’m sharing my thoughts on the current state of the country, activism in everyday forms, and why Black pride and joy are acts of resistance. This episode is part vent, part reset, and part reminder that even when the world feels like it’s on fire, we still get to live, love, and move forward.
If you’re feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, hopeful, nervous, proud, or all of the above — this one’s for you.
